How To Deal With Waste Solid Tires?

Solid tire is a kind of tire opposite of pneumatic tire. Its carcass is solid, which is suitable for low-speed and heavy-duty industrial vehicles. Solid tires are widely used in mining, engineering construction and cargo handling because of their advantages such as wear-resistant, puncture-resistant and no need to inflate. With the development of China's industry, industrial vehicles have increased greatly, and the number of waste solid tires has also increased. Waste tires are harmful solid waste, known as "black pollution", which has caused a lot of obstacles to the construction of ecological civilization in China, so it is urgent to effectively deal with these waste tires.

 

The following are the current solutions:

1) Whole regeneration. Tire revision refers to the use of old tires after repair, processing, re-affixed tread adhesive and vulcanization to restore its use value. Waste tires can be used as ship buffers, road guardrails or water-and-soil conservation fences, and noise-reducing partitions in buildings. This reuse method will not cause rubber resources waste and environmental re-pollution.

2) Manufacturing recycled rubber. after crushing, heating, mechanical treatment and other physical and chemical processes, the waste solid tire can be made into recycled rubber, its elastic state will have viscous performance, can be re-vulcanized rubber.

3) Made into rubber powder. Rubber powder can be directly molding or made into products together with brand-new rubber; on the other hand, rubber powder can be used in modified asphalt pavement, modified asphalt for producing waterproof rolling material and construction industry. Crushing technology for producing rubber powder includes ozone crushing, high pressure blasting and low temperature fine crushing.

4) Pyrolysis and incineration. Pyrolysis is the use of external heat to break up chemical chains and decompose organic matter into valuable chemical products such as fuel gas, oil rich in aromatic hydrocarbons and carbon black. Tires have a high calorific value. Waste tires can be used as fuel for cement kilns, which can be burned to generate electricity.

 

In the process of rubber powder production, it does not need desulfurization process, and the process is much simpler than the traditional production process of recycled rubber. This will not cause waste water and gas, dust pollution, can basically eliminate the secondary pollution. The production of rubber powder makes full use of the available part of waste rubber, which can not only reduce the cost of rubber products, but also fully recycle waste rubber resources. In addition, the application range of rubber powder is very wide, can meet various needs.
